Meridian Freight — logistics without the guesswork
Meridian Freight began in 2003 with four trucks and a single warehouse outside Madrid. Two decades later we operate a multimodal network spanning Europe, North Africa and Asia, moving everything from temperature-controlled pharmaceuticals to oversized industrial plant. What has not changed is the way we work: one named coordinator per account, transparent pricing, and a tracking record you can check at any hour of the day.

Every Meridian consignment gets a number in the format MRD-YY-XXXXXXXX, for example MRD-25-40318827. It is issued the moment the shipment is created and stays with the cargo until delivery.
Standard road, air and ocean quotes are returned within four working hours. Project cargo, oversized loads and dangerous goods usually take one working day because we price them individually rather than from a rate card.
We move cargo to and from 48 countries across Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Road is direct on our own fleet within Europe; everything else runs through vetted partners we have used for years.
Every shipment carries standard CMR, Warsaw Convention or Hague-Visby liability depending on mode. All-risk cargo insurance covering full declared value is available on request and is usually between 0.15% and 0.4% of the goods value.
Yes. We are an AEO-certified customs agent and clear import and export entries in-house, including bonded transit, temporary admission and preferential origin documentation.
Your coordinator contacts you before you notice, with the reason and a revised delivery window, and the delay is logged as an event on your tracking timeline so there is a written record of exactly what happened and when.
